Professional oral cavity hygiene

We use device Vector, ultrasound machine and Air Flow system (soda and water spray) in our clinic for a professional oral cavity hygiene.

Preventive programs may include procedures that can be conducted only by a hygienist. The basic procedure of this kind is a professional hygienic teeth cleaning by mechanical method. The enamel on our teeth has an uneven surface. Unless we perform regular brushing, the proteins contained in food because of their sticky surface, "settle" on teeth and formplaque and tartar.

Regular hygienic tooth cleaning using mechanical method makes enamel smooth and strong and at the same time provides teeth with natural whiteness. Using ultrasound hygienist removes hard dental plaque. Then the specialist removes soft dental plaque using Air Flow method, which involves a heavy flush of pearl powder mixed with water and air. Finally, the teeth are polished with special polishing paste. As a result, the teeth become naturally white after the procedure.

Application of fluoride gel or varnish is performed for teeth strengthening after hygiene cleaning. Our hygienist will not only conduct professional cleaning but will also help to choose a toothbrush and toothpaste that fit your teeth.

For caries prevention it is recommended to discover anatomical peculiarities such as deep grooves and deepening immediately after the appearance of permanent teeth and seal them with special materials.
